Jersey Auto Lease is a New Jersey auto brokerage based in Bayonne, NJ. This policy describes how we collect, use, protect, and share personal information when you use this website and our services.
Information we collect
(a) Contact and inquiry details you provide through our forms: name, phone number, email address, and your message or vehicle of interest. (b) Account details if you create an applicant account: name, email, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). (c) Credit application information you choose to submit: identity details (including date of birth and Social Security number), contact information, residence and housing details, employment and income information, and information about the vehicle and deal you're pursuing. (d) Basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically for security and site operation.
How we use your information
To respond to your inquiries; to arrange the lease, financing, or purchase you request — including preparing and, with your authorization, submitting your credit application to dealerships, lenders, and financial institutions to obtain approvals and terms; to send transactional emails such as application confirmations and sign-in codes; to operate, secure, and improve the site; and to comply with legal obligations.
How we protect it
The site runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your most sensitive application fields, including Social Security number and date of birth, are additionally encrypted at rest in our systems and are masked in day-to-day staff views. Staff access to application records requires individual accounts with multi-factor authentication.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share it only: with dealerships, lenders, and financial institutions as needed to arrange the transaction you've requested, with your authorization; with service providers who help us operate the site (such as email delivery, hosting, and bot-protection services), under obligations of confidentiality; and where required by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use only what the site needs to function: session information to keep you signed in to your account, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms from automated abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to serve you, meet legal and regulatory requirements applicable to credit transactions, and maintain business records, after which it is deleted or de-identified.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. Deletion requests are honored except where retention is required by law.
Children
This site and our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
